7 Day tour from Fes to Marrakech

Upon arrival at the airport in Fes, you will be picked up by a driver and transferred to your hotel. If time permits, you will have the opportunity to explore the new part of the city before checking in to your hotel/Riad.

Today we will explore Fes City with a local guide. First, We will visit the Royal Palace gate, The Pass by the ancient Jewish quarter. after that drive to See the view of The Medina, Then start walking through the Medina with your guide. See blue Gate, the main entrance to old city. visit The Medersa Bouanania, The tannerites, Also Quaraouin mosque and university, This is the oldest University in the world.

In the afternoon after having lunch you go to an ancient fortress for a panoramic view of the old and new City of Fez, then take you your Riad.

Today the 7 day tour departs from the Riad in Fes at 8am and head towards the Sahara Desert. The first stop of the day will be in the town of Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its climate, architecture, and historical significance. There is a brief break to walk around and take a picture of white lion statue, We will continue to Azrou cedar forest to feed wild monkeys.

As we continue on to the Atlas Mountains, you will be greeted by stunning views of the mountain range. Take a break for photos and enjoy the panoramic views.

Before continuing to the largest cedar forest in Morocco, located near the town of Azrou, where visitors have the chance to see Barbary Monkeys in the wild. The journey continues through Berber villages such as Timhdit, Zaida, and Medilt, Where to top for lunch.

Next, crosses the High Atlas Mountains to reach Errachidia, where the valley of palm trees creates an oasis of green ideal for growing various fruits and vegetables. Afterwards, we will arrive in Erfoud, a town known for fossils and date fruit.

ThetTrip continues on rocky desert tracks until reaching the village of Merzouga, the main town in the Sahara Desert. Overnight stay is at a hotel close to the dunes with dinner and breakfast included.

Today’s plan is to explore the Merzouga desert and Erg Chebbi sand dunes. In a 4×4 vehicle in the morning and camel ride in the evening.

After breakfast, pick up in a 4×4 vehicle , We will visit Khamlia, a village known for its Gnawa music and Berber culture, Then drive through the route of the famous Paris-Dakar rally. You will also visit mines of Kohl and Barite and visit nomadic communities to learn about their way of life in the desert.

During your excursion, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch at a local Berber restaurant. The restaurant is known for its unique Berber Pizza, a traditional dish from the Berber people of Morocco.

After having a couple of hours of fun in a 4×4 car, you will start a camel trek through the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes. You will ride the camel for 1h30min, enjoy breathtaking landscapes of the vast Sahara desert, As you make your way through the dunes, you will have the opportunity to watch an incredible sunset. Once you reach the desert camp, you will be welcomed with a traditional cup of mint tea , and after a while you will enjoy a delicious dinner, followed by Berber music around fire, then free time to enjoy star gazing.

Rise early to catch the sunrise over the dunes, have breakfast and camel ride back to Merzouga village, meet your driver and start the journey to Dades Gorge.

Drive through Rissani, known for its traditional and authentic local markets, Continue to Tinggir,  explore the charming city, surrounded by valleys and known for their stunning views. and Todra Gorge is a narrow, 300 meter-high gorge in the Eastern High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. It is a popular destination for hiking and rock climbing, and features towering cliffs.

After short walking in the canyon, break for lunch and continue exploring till we reach Boumalne Dades, Overnight Kasbah hotel.

The tour begins in the morning as you depart from Dades and head towards the Roses valley, known for its beautiful rose gardens and the production of rose oil.

Continue on, to Ouarzazate, a city known for its film studios and the location of many famous films. After a stop for sightseeing and photographs, We will continue on to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a traditional Berber village. Here, you will take a guided tour of the village and learn about its history and culture.

Next, After lunch , we will head towards the High Atlas Mountains, the highest mountain range in North Africa. We will cross Tishka Pass and arrive in Marrakech. Check in to your Riad in the heart of Medina.

Today is the day to explore Marrakech, a city in Morocco known for its rich history, culture, and architecture. A city sightseeing tour with a local guide is a great way to explore the city and learn about its landmarks and history. In the afternoon, we will transfer to the airport based on your flight schedule. or to your Riad if you still have a few days in Marrakech.
