Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah – Merzouga – camel ride

Our private 2 days tour from marrakech starts after picking you up at your hotel or riad in Marrakech. You will leave for the Merzouga desert with an expert tour guide / driver. On the way you will cross theHigh Atlas Mountainsby the incredible Tizi N Tichka pass, 2,260 meters high. Enjoy panoramic views of Berber villages.
Shortly after crossing the Atlas we will arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, it’s an incredible fortified village where films such as Gladiator or The Kingdom Of the Skies.
After the visit of Kasbah we will take the Road of the Thousand Kasbahs towards Skoura Oasis, The Valley of roses, Dades valley. We stop for lunch on the way. Then we will continue through Tinjdad, Rissani.
Before sunset you will reachMerzouga Sahara desertvillage to startcamel trekking excursionto desert camp. To reach the camp you will ride your camel over sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. The dunes are located south east of Morocco. and the Sahara desert is large as 35 km long and 5 to 8 km wide it’s also reputed as the highest sand dunes in North Africa.
The camel treks take about 1h 30min from Merzouga town to the nomadic desert camp. We have both luxury and normal comfort camp. In the camp we have western bathroom, kitchen and dining room and everything else we will need for the night.

Today, on the second day of our 2 days tour from Marrakech, the itinerary starts in the early morning. The guides in camp will wake you up to watchmagic sunrisebehind Erg Chebbi dunes. Breakfast and shower at the camp. Then Camel treks to Merzouga or 4WD or ATVs quad biking as an extra activity to do in Merzouga.
The journey is long again from south east to the northern Morocco .Leave Merzouga and drive to Erford city and stop for a panoramic view of Ziz valley. Continue to Errachidia. Cross High Atlas mountains to reach Midelt, the city famous for the apple trees. Stop for lunch in Zaida town. Continue journey to Azrou Cedar forest this chance to see wild monkeys in their natural home. Continue driving to Ifane, its small beautiful town known as Moroccan Switzerland.
